Mr. Garrity received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1990, he became a registered Architect in 1996.
As Principal partner of Garrity + Accardo Architects, Mr. Garrity is responsible for all architectural design projects. Included in those responsibilities are client correspondence, contract negotiations, programming and site development, master planning, design and direct supervision of all contract documents, cost estimating, project scheduling, specification writing, bidding, and construction administration. Mr. Garrity corresponds with all subcontractors about all aspects of each project to coordinate all trades.
Through a strategic alliance with Garrity Construction Corporation, Mr. Garrity has accumulated extensive experience in construction administration utilizing the design-build model for project delivery. These duties include documentation and analysis of existing conditions, cost estimates and bidding, sequencing of construction activities, direct coordination with sub-contractors and consultants, coordinating field inspections with local jurisdictions, and insuring completed project delivery.
